Fishing For Jesus!
Did you know that the disciples were not always disciples? They all had other jobs, many of them were fishermen. But when Jesus asked them to follow him, they quit their day jobs to follow Jesus. It must have been really hard for them to leave their jobs and families to follow Jesus. Have you ever had to leave someone or somewhere? Sometimes it is really hard isn't it?
In this week's lesson, we learn how we can still follow Jesus, without having to leave our homes and jobs. We can follow him in our everyday lives! What ways can you think of to follow Jesus from your home? Or your school? Or other places in your community? This week we challenge you to test out one of these ways to follow Jesus.
