Come, Lord Jesus. Be Our Guest.
The Table Is Set
The Church is possibly the only true intergenerational community in our society. It is a unique place where all six living generations are gathered together week after week under the same roof. At St. Paul Lutheran we celebrate this gift. In May of 2021, as part of a list of Hopes, Goals, and Objectives, we committed to building on and increasing intergenerational serving, learning, and worshiping opportunities among our members. We combine the wisdom of our elders with the wonder of our children—gifts that belong together. Every age has gifts we need, and every age has needs we can gift. In addition to celebrating the wisdom and wonder of those within our community of faith, we also invite and value those from our surrounding community in which we live, work, and play. The Table welcomes all! What is The Table? The Table is a mid-week (Wednesday) intergenerational faith formation opportunity for all ages that includes a meal, worship, service, and learning. Generations gather together for a meal combined with worship. Worship is authentic, relational and interactive as daily highs and lows and individual faith stories and experiences are shared around individual tables. Communion is also shared and distributed at individual tables. All are welcome at The Table.
